This module is used to handle proposals with a specific expiration date—it sends your customer an automatic email reminder about the approaching expiration date of the proposal. In addition, when a customer opens an offer that has already expired, they will see a message on the offer browser informing them that the offer has expired and allowing them to easily contact the sales representative and order a new proposal. The module can be enabled for all or only selected proposals.
How does the proposal expiry date module work?
When you complete the data for sending the proposal, you will find the Proposal expiry date section in the Advanced tab. It has two options. The first one is Set the expiry date of the proposal. After selecting this option, you must choose the date after which the proposal will be unavailable, meaning that the Customer will not be able to read it.
After opening a proposal that has expired, the recipient will see the following message on the proposal viewer:
After clicking on the highlighted email address of the person who sent the proposal, an automatic message will be created and sent based on three variables that Sellizer will fill in for the recipient of the proposal who requests that it be resent. These are:
recipient – the email address of the person sending the proposal
message title - “Sellizer - request to resend proposal”,
treść wiadomości - "Good morning, please resend the offer: {proposal_title}"
Option 2: Attach proposal files to the reminder. When this option is selected, the reminder that will be automatically sent to the client 24 hours before the set expiration date of the proposal will include the files from the original proposal to which the reminder is being sent.
To personalize the content of the message sent as part of the proposal expiration reminder:
Go to the Settings tab, then to the Default settings section.
Scroll down to the Proposal expiry date section.
Define the content of the automatic reminder. The correct proposal title will be automatically inserted in place of {OFFER_TITLE}.
