PRIORITY is an indicator that shows how actively a recipient is engaging with your proposal right now. It's calculated in real time and decreases over time if the recipient stops visiting the proposal.
The indicator is displayed as a color bar - from green (low) through yellow and orange, up to red (strongest signal to reach out).
How does the indicator work?
PRIORITY shows whether a recipient has been recently active on the proposal. It increases when the recipient opens and actively browses the proposal. It decreases every night if the recipient shows no activity - roughly by half after a week of silence.
This way, you know who is active right now, not a week ago. When a recipient reopens the proposal, PRIORITY immediately goes back up.
What drives PRIORITY up?
Real recipient activity on the proposal counts. The strongest signals are:
clicking "request contact" / "request a contract",
downloading or printing the proposal,
opening quickly right after the proposalwas sent,
time spent on the proposal and viewing most of the pages,
opens from multiple devices (a sign that several people are viewing it - a decision committee),
returning to the proposal after a longer period of silence,
multiple opens (up to ~3 is a good signal; a very high number isn't necessarily positive - it can mean someone keeps coming back because they can't make up their mind).
Weak / uncertain: just opening the email (pixel) - counts very little, as it's often email bots, not a real person.
Where can I see the indicator?
The PRIORITY indicator is visible in:
the proposal list (main dashboard),
the recipient list under a specific proposal (when expanding an proposal with multiple recipients),
proposals in company or contact details,
statistics for a specific proposal.
On mobile and narrow screens, you'll find the value in the row details view.

Frequently asked questions:
1. Why did my recipient's PRIORITY drop even though nothing changed?
PRIORITY decreases automatically every night if the recipient hasn't visited the proposal. This is intentional - the list is meant to show current activity, not historical.
2. A new recipient has PRIORITY 0 - is something broken?
No, that's normal. As long as the recipient hasn't opened the proposal, there's nothing to calculate the indicator from. The value will appear after the first open.
3. How quickly does PRIORITY update?
In real time - the moment a recipient opens or browses the proposal. The decrease (when there's no activity) happens once a day, overnight.
